A distinct visual direction

Real client · Burbage, Leicestershire
A bespoke responsive site for The Burbage Embroidery & Print Room, with a gallery the client can update herself and clear routes into the supplier catalogues customers use to choose garments.

The existing builder site contained useful business information and genuine work, but its structure and presentation were limited. The replacement needed to present embroidery, print, workwear and personalised gifts clearly while preserving the business’s established identity.
The gallery could not become something only a developer could maintain. Karoline needed a phone-friendly way to add and organise new work without editing code or waiting for a new deployment.

Home, Gallery, Catalogues, About, Contact and quote paths were designed to remain clear and usable from small phone screens through to desktop.
Gallery content is managed through the Website Whisperer client workflow backed by Sanity, so new work can be published without a code change or site rebuild.
The site links to the three live external supplier catalogues already used by the business, then brings customers back into a quote conversation rather than copying supplier data.
The new site launched on the business’s real domain on 24 September 2026. Its original domain and email arrangements were preserved while the website moved to the new build.
The content workflow is proven in real use: Karoline has uploaded additional photos and changed gallery categories herself, and those updates reached the production site. That is the most important result to record here — the website is not only live; the client can keep the proof of her work current.
Tell me what the business needs the website to do. I’ll help turn that into a clear scope and next step.
